Where and How to Retrieve the Money

Retrieving money that has already been sent is a delicate process.  It depends on where you sent the money, the amount of money that was sent, and the policies of the payment platform involved.

Here are the steps you should follow:

1.     Contact the Recipient: The quickest way to resolve an issue with a sent payment is to contact your recipient directly and request a payment from the designated authorized location.  Provide the recipient with the account number, the date sent, and the amount of money sent.   The recipient must provide a government ID and present this to the authorized location.  This is most effective because the recipient could receive the payment without fraud.

2.     Payment Platform Policies:   There are different payment platforms for sending money through Positgram, such as bank-to-bank transfers (ACH), direct cash payment transfers, and credit or debit card transfers. (e.g., visa, masters, American Express, or other major credit cards)

o   Bank Transfers: Contact your bank immediately if you need to retrieve a bank transfer. Some banks may be able to stop or reverse the transaction if it hasn’t been fully processed.

o   Credit or Debit Card Transfers:  Contact your credit/debit card bank institution immediately if the money has been processed within 1 or 2 days and the money was deducted from your account.

o

3.     Report Fraud: If you suspect that the payment was part of a scam or fraudulent activity, report the incident to our customer support immediately and to your bank.   These will be investigated right away within 24 hours.  If there was a potential theft of the debit and credit card, our customer service team can reverse this fraud transaction.  Report also with your banking institution so they can also reverse the fraudulent transaction.

4.     File a Dispute: For credit card payments, you can usually file a dispute with your credit card issuer if your recipient did not receive the money that you sent to our authorized location.

5.     Legal Options: In some cases, we reserve the right to pursue any legal action if necessary, if the transaction was done fraudulently.  This could involve small claims court based on the sender’s specific residence or domicile.  For international senders, the US court will be used to proceed with any legal action based on the headquarters of Positgram.   Additionally, seek some legal advice if the money you sent is involved in online theft using Positgram’s payment platform.

 6.     Prevention: To avoid future issues, double-check that you entered your recipient’s details before sending payments, and be cautious when dealing with unknown entities or individuals online.

Minimum and Maximum Amount

The minimum amount that you as a sender can send is $20.00 --as a subscribed member.  The maximum amount that you can send in a payment per transaction is $1,000.00 with a $10,000.00 limit per day.   To send money, you must be a verified subscribed member.  To send $1,000.00 over, we will require you to provide your government-issued ID, such as a current driver’s license, passport number, two phone numbers, complete legal street address, banking account, and social security number.
